Prof. Merran Govendir
I am a veterinary pharmacologist at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science at The University of Sydney. I study the physiological differences between species and how they affect dosages of medicines. I have a laboratory and develop and validate assays to determine the concentrations of medicines in animals’ biological fluids. I am assisted by my PhD students, research masters students and honours students. I am currently undertaking projects in koalas, cats, dogs and sheep and will describe the projects and their outcomes on this blog.
